Making sense of brain and nerve symptoms
Neurological symptoms can be worrying. A consultation goes through what has happened, checks your nerves, strength and reflexes, and explains which tests, if any, you need and what happens next.
When to book
- Headaches or migraines that are frequent or getting worse
- Fits (seizures) or blackouts
- Follow-up after a stroke
- Numbness, tingling or weakness in the arms or legs
- Dizziness, tremor, or problems with balance or memory
What we can help with
- Neurology consultations
- A review of your scans, EEG and other reports
- Ongoing care for long-term nerve conditions
Before your visit
Bring previous CT or MRI scans, reports and prescriptions. If you’ve had fits or blackouts, bring someone who saw one, or a video if you have it.
