Plan your test visit
Most tests are quick, but some need preparation. Reception can confirm whether your test is done here, how to prepare, and when your report will be ready.

Preparing for your test
- Some blood tests, such as fasting sugar or a lipid profile, need you to fast first. Reception will tell you for how long. Plain water is usually fine.
- Ask your doctor whether to take your usual medicines before a fasting test.
- Tell the staff before an X-ray if you are, or might be, pregnant.
- Bring your doctor’s prescription or test request.
